Email sign-up is not open yet, and this website is not currently collecting waitlist emails. Once sign-up opens, we will collect the email address you enter, the product identifier oil-studio, your selected language and the time of your first sign-up, only to notify you when Oil Studio downloads open. We trim whitespace and lowercase email addresses. Each address is registered once.

Waitlist records are received by api.oiloil.org and stored in the Neon PostgreSQL database used by Oil API, separately from accounts and recording projects. The endpoint limits requests by IP address. The database stores only an IP hash and a request count for the current hour; expired rate-limit records are cleared on later requests. Application logs do not record email addresses.

Before sign-up opens, we will publish an email address here for deletion requests. You can then send a request from your registered address. We will delete its waitlist record and stop sending download announcements to it.

Data processed on your Mac

Caption transcription, voice enhancement and skin smoothing run on your Mac. These features do not require uploading recordings, videos or projects to a server.

Built-in AI fine cut

When you use the built-in AI fine cut, the app sends transcript text and the video frames and audio clips needed to verify edits to api.oiloil.org, which calls AI models to process them. Check that your recording content is suitable for cloud processing before using this feature. Original audio recordings and projects are not uploaded.

If you use your own AI agent, where data is sent depends on the agent, model service and your configuration. Please read the privacy information for those services.

Visiting this website

Vercel hosts this website. When you visit, the hosting service receives network request information needed to serve the pages, such as your IP address, request path and browser information. Joining the waitlist is a separate action you choose to take.
